What Are ACHES & PAINS Vouchers?

In the absence of a centralized community care clinic, the Grand County Rural Health Network developed these programs to help meet the healthcare needs of low-income, uninsured residents of Grand County.

These voucher programs are funded solely through local grants and donations, and are provided in partnership with Grand County Public Health. The Network and Public Health are working with the community to determine a collaborative, comprehensive community-health system for the uninsured, low-income population of Grand County.

Program Stats
  • Grand County children received medical, dental, or mental health assistance from vouchers 38 times in 2017
  • In partnership with local providers, the A.C.H.E.S. Program provided over $8,000 worth of services to Grand County's uninsured children in 2017
  • 44 adults received vouchers for medical or mental health care in 2017
  • The P.A.I.N.S. Program provided over $20,000 worth of services to Grand County's uninsured adults in 2017
